JOB SUMMARY

Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Systems (ISRS) is a cornerstone of Raytheon’s sensing domain expertise and innovation. ISRS designs, develops, produces and supports a vast array of electro-optical/infrared sensors, active electronically scanned array/scanning radars, and various integrated systems solutions to provide customers with actionable information for strike, persistent surveillance, and special mission applications.

The Advanced Concepts and Technology Mission Area within ISRS seeks a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to function as an Advanced Teaming Systems Architect to provide technical support and expertise for the FVL (Future Vertical Lift) team. The position will reside in the System Engineering Integration & Test Center (SEIT) within the Advanced Concept Architecture and Analysis section. This systems engineer will work amongst other systems engineers and will support the chief engineer, and lead systems engineer. This position can either be located in Dallas or McKinney TX.

JOB RELATED ACTIVITIES

  • Developing mission system equipment architectures that will position Raytheon to be a credible mission systems integrator for the Army’s rotary wing fleet.
  • Incorporating advanced teaming technology into mission system architectures to meet challenging customer requirements
  • Lead, manage, and mentor other engineers to successfully create system architectures
  • Creating basis of estimate documentation and supporting bidding activities
  • Lead dialog with Leadership and/or customers to elicit objectives and requirements and resolve technical issues

Required Skills

Job Description
Raytheon IIS Field Engineering is currently seeking a Sr. Field Engineer I. This dual-role position will be responsible for the Multi-Function RF System (MFRFS) and/or the Coyote UAS weapon platform. The Field Engineer (FE) is responsible for supporting/overseeing operation and maintenance activities of RF sensor systems and the Coyote UAS weapon system in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other undisclosed Middle East locations. The FE will oversee all installation, test, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities for the radar system (including operation of a tactical generator and an environmental cooling unit) and the Coyote UAS at the assigned locations. The FE will be considered the technical expert and must be able to answer all technical questions regarding the operation and maintenance of the systems. The FE will provide guidance to the US Army soldiers to complete emplacement, tactical operation, preventive maintenance and march order tasks. The FE will be responsible for inventory control of a stock of field level replaceable spare parts and record all maintenance related actions. The FE will provide support to all locations on a rotational basis. MFRFS personnel will work in McKinney, TX when not deployed. The position is located in McKinney, TX and personnel will be required to live in the local area.

Required Skills and Experience:

NOTE: This is a temporary position expected to be one year in duration, depending on business needs.

Job Description:
  • Provide Regional Records Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) Support for assigned company organizations and locations;
  • Manage, Update and Maintain integrity of Inactive Records Storage Inventory; Provide customer service interface to inactive inventory;
  • Engage and collaborate with local, business-level and corporate records management personnel and other staff located within and outside of the US;
  • Other Records Management activities, as assigned by Records Manager;
  • Work Semi Independently with weekly Manager Oversight
Ability to independently and safely lift/manage boxes in warehouse environment (Up to 30 lbs.) is required.
US Citizenship is also required.


Required Skills:

– 5 years’ experience, or more, supporting Records Management processes and organizations as a Records Clerk, Administrator and/or Specialist;
– Experience Managing the Life cycle of Records (all media types);
– Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills;
– Demonstrated ability to manage projects and related tasks and timelines.

Desired Skills:

– Records Management Certification or Designation (CRM, CRA or other industry designation or certification.)
– Experience providing records management support to a large organization, (10,000+ employees)

Minimum Education Required:

– Four year college degree (BS/BA) from an accredited institution, experience may be substituted for education
