The AMR Business Area within ISRS is looking for a finance manager to lead a team of 13 with annual Sales of $200M+. The finance manager is an integral part of the leadership team in helping to maximize execution, build strategy, and ensure the team is meeting financial and customer commitments. Excellent communication skills are required for interactions with cross-functional leadership and members of the ISRS finance team. This role is essential for establishing transparent finance processes and decision making to assist leadership in the growth of this business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leadership, Motivation and Development of AMR finance team
  • Review and approval of program Estimate-at-Completion (EAC)
  • Program Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) reporting
  • Actively identifying risks and opportunities and driving proactive mitigation and capture
  • Assisting the capture leads with new business initiatives, proposal activity, gate packages & negotiations
  • Development of Financial Forecast, Annual Operating Plan, and 5-yr Strategic Plan
  • Contract Funds Request (CFRs), and Appropriation Requests (ARs)
Required Skills:
  • 10+ years related work experience
  • Proficient financial acumen blended with business partnership and leadership
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, etc)
  • Utilize strong leadership and organizational skills in directing and motivating personnel toward common finance and people goals by setting priorities, working within deadlines, and drive change within program area
  • Leadership skills with the ability to attract, retain, and develop exceptional talent
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence in a matrix organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
Desired Skills:
  • Minimum of 10 years financial management experience in most financial disciplines including EAC, EV, & expense management; financial planning; operations finance; strategic planning; and new business proposal development
  • Defense industry experience with knowledge of both government accounting techniques and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance processes
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing Estimates at Completion (EACs)
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) & Experience with and knowledge of APEX EV and PRISM EV
  • SAP accounting system
  • Experience in development / strategic program new business capture and direct customer interface
Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related discipline
