Raytheon is seeking a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) for the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System Sustainment and Services program, located in Richardson, TX. In this position, you will serve as a direct report to the AF DCGS Program Manager within the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Cyber (C5) Systems, within the Mission Systems (MS) sub-mission area that is within the Mission Support and Modernization (MSM) mission area. The AF DCGS is a network-centric, multi-intelligence weapon system providing commanders and the National Command Authority with decision-quality information, and the war fighter with up-to-date information and capability. The Raytheon DPM supports the PM execution to the program’s execution, achieving measurable customer satisfaction and ensuring future program growth.

The successful candidate will the ability to manage a diverse, multifunctional team and have the primary responsibilities not limited to the following:

  • Support the PM in executing subsets of the program and managing the financial, technical, and schedule requirements of all program components to deliver products that are technically acceptable in a cost-effective manner.

  • Perform Control Account Manager responsible for program management budget including development of budgetary baseline, review of actual costs and determine variance analysis, monthly Latest Revised Estimate updates and Estimate At Complete analysis, and sales forecast update.

  • Follow management program processes, plans and procedures to ensure program executes based on AS9100 Quality certification requirements and Raytheon best practices.

  • Organize Program Management Execution Gates for leadership review and approval.

  • Prepare weekly customer status execution reports for PM approval.

  • Prepare monthly Customer delivery reports for PM approval.

  • Ensure timely submission of customer Letter of Introduction and visit requests are submitted in a timely manner.

  • Function as the Program Manger during periods of the PM’s absence.

  • Support other Raytheon C5 programs as required

Required Skills:

  • Experience evaluating program Risks and Opportunities.
  • Understanding of Earned Value Management principles.

  • Experience working with diverse, multifunctional teams.

  • Strong written and oral presentation skills.

  • Qualified applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to program information.

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to achieve Raytheon PM Certification Level 5 within 6 months of hire.

  • Prior experience working in the intelligence community.

  • Experience with Agile Development program execution.

  • PMP Certification or equivalent.

  • Advanced Degree preferred.

Required Education (including Major):

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Business, Engineering or Science degree preferred.
