Job Description:

The analysts will work with FBI analysts in providing assistance in the timely determination of a person’s eligibility to possess firearms or explosives in accordance with federal law.

  • They will apply analytic methodologies and principles to address client’s needs.
  • Support analyst functions including data collection, interviewing, data modeling, project testing, and creation of performance measurements to support project objectives.
  • Conduct activities in support of project team’s objectives.
  • Work closely with Senior Analysts or Team Leads.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary function of a Staff Operations Officer is to support operational elements by providing operational research and analysis in furtherance of the client’s operational objectives.  Officers will utilize customer-specific databases to conduct multiple layers of research and write summaries, reports, official correspondence, and guidance.  Officers will also be expected to provide thorough and knowledgeable briefings on the analysis to customer management.  Daily activities include:

  • Manage a full range of operational and support activities for overseas missions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a volume of ongoing cases
  • Provide operational guidance for ongoing cases, ensuring any CI issues are identified to protect the client’s personnel and facilities
  • Design particular classified activities, propose recommendations, and identify the pros/cons of possible operational scenarios
  • Coordinate legal and policy issues affecting cases
  • Provide briefings on cases to senior customer officials, identifying potential issues on cases

Additionally, officers will provide a limited amount of administrative assistance in support of team personnel.  Candidates will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in classified databases and develop relationships with various operational components to meet the client’s requirements.

Responsibilities:

Subject Matter Expert Job Description:

Special Activities SME – shall provide Personnel Recovery (PR) / Survival Evasions, Resistance, Escape (SERE) expertise within MRR S3X, located at Camp Lejeune, NC, with subject matter in the full spectrum of PR and SERE operations with knowledge and understanding of Unconventional Assisted Recovery (UAR) Operations and Non-Conventional Assisted Recovery (NAR) Operations. The SA (PR/SERE) SME shall assist in the development, coordination, and execution of all PR plans and other operational matters as required. The SA (PR/SERE) SMEs shall assist as a SERE Manager, supporting training in basic, high-risk resistance techniques and procedures enabling a greater chance of recovery.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and six (6) – nine (9) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have SOF Senior Enlisted (E-8^) or Officer (0-3^) background who has performed duties at the Company level or higher and must possess Special Operations Force (SOF) experience, such as prior operational experience with: Special Mission Unit (SMU); U.S. Army Special Forces; Navy SEALs; Marine Critical Skills Operators; and U. S. Army Rangers.

Required skills/experience include:

The SA (PR/SERE) SME shall have experience providing Peacetime Government Detention/ Hostage Detention training and Full Spectrum SERE training from a Joint Personnel Recovery Agency-approved POI as well as validating new PGD/HD requirements and modifying the POI per JPRA standards. The SA (PR/SERE) SME shall be capable of interfacing with JPRA and sister service SERE agencies when required. They shall provide operational input into the planning, programming, and budgeting process and serves as the principle advisor to the MRR-S3X on all PR/SERE related matters.

Possess and maintain a Secret Security Level Clearance

Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client. It is important to be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week. Normal workdays are 0800-1630, Mon-Fri.
